Another 48 Hour Film Project...Where Does It All Go?

What a weekend! Another film project and it seems like ti did not even happen...what a whirlwind of excitement. With a hand full of veteran film makers, a hand full of newbies, only two injuries that did NOT happen during the stunts and a tired Director, it looks like a great film happened. The film will be posted soon, so please be patience, but last minute tweaks are always my thing.
The bad news is of course we were two minutes late on turning the film in. Yup...only two! Bummer. So that means we are ineligible to win any awards except for audience awards. So come on out to the Fleur on Thursday night and watch group C and support us; and vote for us.
You can also support the other film makers and their films. 49 teams participated this year so great job everyone! Wednesday will be group A and B and group C and D will be Thursday. There is two showings of each group a night, one at 7pm and one at 9pm. Get your tickets at MidwesTIX.com.
Out of the whole thing, I can honestly say this is one of the best films that has come from this hard working team. Great job everyone! I am excited to see the "peoples" response!
Now back to West Side Jedi...

Updates...I Am Alive

Ok ok ok. So a lot of you have been asking how the film is going. A lot of you have been asking where is my DVD? A lot of people have been asking for those updates on the website that were promised. A lot of you have been asking for any news with the studio.
SO here is the best I got.
West Side Jedi is coming along beautifully. I am one man and have put hours on hours into this film and hopefully it shows; to everyone else. I can tell. :) It is nearing completion. Only a year later, I think I am doing well since I am not getting a full 8 hours in everyday. Lots of effects and a lot of patience. It will be worth it to everyone!!!
As to the DVD's for other short films...I am working on those too in a way. I do have "down" time where I am waiting on something for West Side Jedi to render or what not so I work a bit on a DVD. But just so everyone knows, West Side Jedi takes first priority no matter what. Your DVD's are coming. I promise. I will not let you down. I am almost done with Little Pieces and will move onto WOW right after.
I have not begun coding the new website. I have listed out all of the things that will be improved in the website, including the look, the interactivity for you my viewers, better organization, just a basic facelift. Again just be patience as they are coming.

On my last note, check out Arizona Ink Studios on Facebook and follow us during the weekend of July 23 - 25, 2010 as we do another 48 Hour Film Project. It will be tons of fun and the new completed film will be right here on ArizonaInkStudios.com starting Monday.
